One long bar runs the width of the piece and passes straight through an open ring at one end and behind a solid disc at the other. The geometry is simple, but because each element sits at a different depth, the light behaves differently at every point along it.
The ring glows from the inside, the disc halos from behind, and the bar lays a long soft line across the wall. Together they light a room the way a picture light does — indirectly, with no visible bulb anywhere.
At 120 cm it is built for the long wall above a sideboard, a bed or a dining table, and it looks deliberate in a room with very little else on the walls.
Runs from the included 12 V adaptor — no battery needed — and the warm LED dims from a soft night glow up to full brightness. If you would rather go wireless, the housing takes a standard rechargeable cell. Batteries themselves cannot be shipped by air, so buy one locally; the piece arrives with the adaptor and the battery holder fitted.

Dust with a dry, soft cloth and never spray liquid near the LED channel. Unplug the adaptor before cleaning behind the piece. Dust with a dry, soft cloth. Keep it off damp walls and out of long direct sunlight; wood moves a little with the seasons, which is normal. A light coat of furniture oil once a year keeps the colour rich.
