Six round coasters turned from solid wood, each with a shallow recess so a cold glass leaves its condensation in the coaster instead of on your table. They stack into a curved holder that keeps them upright and to hand rather than scattered in a drawer.
At 10 cm across they take everything from an espresso cup to a tumbler, and the weight of solid wood means they do not lift with the glass.
The finish is smooth and natural. Wipe them after use and dry them; an occasional coat of oil keeps the colour even as they age.
They sit well on a coffee table, a desk or a bar cart, and they are the small gift that actually gets used.
