A slim open ring carries the hour markers while a carved crescent sweeps through the middle and past the top and bottom of the circle. Because the dial is open, the wall becomes the face: you read the time against your own paint colour.
Set behind the crescent, a warm LED traces the curve and throws a soft crescent of light onto the plaster — quiet enough to leave on all evening in a lounge or bedroom. Hands and markers are turned from the same wood as the body, with a lighter cap at the centre for contrast.
The movement is a silent sweep, so the second hand glides and the room stays quiet. At 65 cm across it works as the single feature on a wall rather than part of a gallery arrangement.
Runs from the included 12 V adaptor — no battery needed — and the warm LED dims from a soft night glow up to full brightness. If you would rather go wireless, the housing takes a standard rechargeable cell. Batteries themselves cannot be shipped by air, so buy one locally; the piece arrives with the adaptor and the battery holder fitted.

Dust with a dry, soft cloth and never spray liquid near the LED channel. Unplug the adaptor before cleaning behind the piece. Dust with a dry, soft cloth. Keep it off damp walls and out of long direct sunlight; wood moves a little with the seasons, which is normal. A light coat of furniture oil once a year keeps the colour rich.
